This category has been made to accommodate for historic appliances which either did not have a designated callsign, or were an older callsign - prior to November 1990, when CFS adopted the current call sign designation system.

The CFS has changed the callsigns allocated to appliances over the years, and you will see examples of this in our database such as 'Basket Range Unit 9', or 'Wirrulla 51'. The current callsigns will be noted next to appliances of recent years, and when the classification of earlier appliance becomes known, we will add these as well.
