CFS Operations
How CFS deal with incidents

An incident scene

The CFS have to deal with a large number of incidents every year, from Building Fires, Road Crashes and Storm Damage, through to Animal Rescues and Bushfires.

Each of these incidents require resources depending on te type of incident, where it has happened and who is involved. As a result, each brigade has resources to meet the individual risks found in their response area, plus a range of standard equipment developed for most incidents they will attend.

This Operations section will guide you through the type of responses which brigades will be responded to, the areas these may occur in, and the way brigades will respond to, control and plan a way of dealing with incidents.

Make a selection from the menu on the left to see how the CFS will deal with incidents.
