Rapid Intervention Equipment
It is intended to be a primary way of gaining entry to a vehicle where a simple door removal, will facilitate medical retreival of a casualty, or to remove a device from a limb in a industrial accident situation. If there is a need for an extra, or stronger set of equipment, then a full Road Crash Rescue response will be initiated from another brigade. Photographs by Ashley Hosking, CFS Promotions unit
