Submitted On Wednesday, October 4, 2006
Submitted By Pip McGowan

Due to the dry conditions across the State, the commencement of the Fire Danger Season has been brought forward to October 15th, in ALL areas.

From October 15th, this means no burning in the open without a permit. Permits to burn in the open may be available in some areas, subject to certain conditions. For further information about permits, please contact your Local Council.

With the commencement of the fire danger season, there are other activities that are subject to restrictions.

For further information, contact the CFS, your Local Council, or see the CFS Website at www.cfs.org.au
