Three of the state's Emergency service - the Country Fire Service, Metropolitan Fire Service, and the State Emergency Service, will compete in the State Road Crash Rescue Challenge, to be held in conjuction with the Motor Show, at the Wayville Show Grounds on 8th & 9th april 2006.

All three services regularly attend scenes of Road Crashes, and are often called upon to use hydraulic tools to extricate trapped patients from crashed vehicles.

The State RCR challenge pits the skills of crews against each other in a competition to determine the best Road Crash Rescue Teams from each of South Australias Fire & Rescue services, along with a team from Victoria's Country Fire Authority.

The winning SA teams go on to represent South Australia at the National Road Crash Rescue Competition in July 2006.

Members of the public are welcome to attend the State Road Crash Rescue Challenge, at the Motor Show, at Wayville Show Grounds April 8th & 9th
