On Saturday (18th October) the community of Eudunda celebrated 75 years of service to the Community.
Those in attendance heard from brigade Lt Michael Prior about the history of the brigade.
A plaque acknowledging 75 years of service was presented to the brigade Captain Thomas Prior, by CFS Chief Brett Loughlin.
Stubby holders, with the names of the first crew members in 1950 were presented to each person who served as brigade Captain over the last 75 years - and to family members of those no longer with us. This included two daughters of the first Captain.
Service and National medals and life memberships were presented to several members by CFS Chief Brett Loughlin and Emergency Services Minister Rhiannon Pearce MP.
A time capsule containing old and new items was placed in the ground in front of a newly painted mural, painted by local artist Robbie Nash.
Congratulations Eudunda CFS on your 75 years of service to your community.
