New BW12 for Mt Lofty

Mount Lofty Group took delivery a new BW12 tonight. The new Mt Lofty BW12 is based on a 2024 Isuzu FXZ 240-350 chassis, is 6 x 4 and carries around 12,000 litres of water. Built by Moore Engineering, it is fitted with a PTO driven Darley HM500 pump. It includes additional safety features to protect firefighters, including a halo system (water deluge system) and an in-cab breathing system. It comes fitted with an LED light bar and an Engel fridge. It will be based at Aldgate Station. It is an addition to the Mt Lofty Group fleet. Thanks Adelaide Emergency Media for the photo.
