Refubished 34 for Marree

Marree took delivery of a refurbished 34 at the end of August. The new Marree 34 is based on a 2013 Isuzu FTS800 Crew chassis, is 4 x 4 and carries 3000 litres of water. Built by Fraser Fire and Rescue, it is fitted with a Deutz BF4L2011 motor / Darley HE500 pump. It includes additional safety features to protect firefighters, including a halo system (water deluge system) and an in-cab breathing system. It comes fitted with an LED light bar and Engel fridge, and equipped with a Stihl chainsaw. It was previously based at Eden Hills. It replaces the existing 25 year old Isuzu based Marree 24, which will be sent for disposal.
