Eden Hills took delivery of a new 34P today.

The new Eden Hills 34P is based on a 2021 Isuzu FTS 139-260 chassis, is 4 x 4 and carries 3000 litres of water.

Built by Fraser Fire and Rescue, it is fitted with a Deutz BF4L2011W motor / Darley HE500 pump.

It includes additional safety features to protect firefighters, including a halo system (water deluge system) and an in-cab breathing system.

It comes fitted with an LED light bar and Engel fridge, and equipped with battery powered tools - including a Stihl chainsaw, quick cut saw and Positive Pressure Ventilation fan (PPV).

It replaces the existing 11 year old Isuzu based Eden Hills 34, which will be refurbished and sent to another brigade.
