New 44 for State Training Centre

State Training Centre took delivery of a new 44 today. The new STC 44 is based on a 2021 Isuzu FTS 139-260 chassis, is 4 x 4 and carries 4000 litres of water. Built by Fraser Fire and Rescue, it is fitted with a Deutz F3L2011 motor / Darley 2.5 AGE pump. The new appliance will be used by the Training Centre to update Fire Ground practices and course content. It replaces the 4 year old Isuzu based STC 34 CAFS, which will be refurbished and sent to another brigade.
