34 for Maaoupe

Maaoupe took delivery of a refurbished 34 today. The new Maaoupe 34 is based on a 2009 Isuzu FTS800 crew chassis, is 4 x 4 and carries 3000 litres of water. Built by Moore Engineering, it is fitted with a Deutz BF4L2011 motor / Gaam Mk450 pump. It comes fitted with Hella driving lights and an Engel fridge, and equipped with a Husqvana chainsaw. It was previously based at Bordertown. It replaces the existing 26 year old Hino based Maaoupe 34, which will be assessed for ongoing operational use.
