Refurbished 34 for Coombe

Coombe took delivery of a refurbished 34 today. The new Coombe 34 is based on a 2009 Isuzu FTS800 crew chassis, is 4 x 4 and carries 3000 litres of water. Built by S.E.M. Fire and Rescue, it is fitted with a Hatz 4L41C motor / Gaam Mk450 pump. It comes fitted with driving lights and an Engel fridge, and equipped with a Stihl chainsaw. It was previously based at Yongala. It replaces the existing 26 year old Hino based Coombe 24, which will be assessed for ongoing operational use.
