34 for Smoky Bay

Smoky Bay took delivery of a refurbished 34 today. The new Smoky Bay 34 is based on a 2003 Isuzu FTS750 crew chassis, is 4 x 4 and carries 3000 litres of water. Built by Moore Engineering it is fitted with a Deutz F3L2011 motor / Waterous CPT-2 pump. It was previously based at Bute. It replaces the existing 23 year old Hino based Smoky Bay 24, which will be assessed for ongoing operational use.
