Wharminda took delivery of a refurbished 34 yesterday. The new Wharminda 34 is based on a 2007 Isuzu FTS750 crew chassis, is 4 x 4 and carries 3000 litres of water. Built by Varley it is fitted with a Deutz BF4L2011 motor / Gaam MK450 pump. It was previously based at Cudlee Creek It replaces the existing 27 year old Hino based Wharminda 24, which will be assessed for ongoing operational use.
