24P for Bute

Bute took delivery of a temporary 24P in early September The new Bute 24P is based on a 1998 Hino GT1JHK, is 4 x 4 and carries 2000 litres of water. Built by Moore Engineering, it is fitted with a Deutz F4L1011F motor / Waterous CLVT pump. It replaces the existing 14 year old Isuzu based Bute 34, which will go to another brigade. Bute CFS recently took on road crash rescue capability. This 24P is fitted out to carry road crash rescue equipment, and will be with the brigade until a newer appliance is available.
