Ten members of the Yalanda/James CFS brigade were presented with International Year of the Volunteer medals, from local member, Barry Wakelin - himself a member of the brigade. The brigade Captain, Clive Chambers encouraged residents to prepare for the Fire season, by ploughing firebreaks around Farm assets
