Athelstone took delivery of a new 14 today.

The new Athelstone 14 is based on a 2024 Isuzu NPS 75-155, is 4 x 4 and carries 1550 litres of water.

Built by Moore Engineering it is fitted with an Isuzu 3CA1-AZPO1 motor / Darley 1.5 AGE pump.

It includes additional safety features to protect firefighters, including a halo system (water deluge system) and an in-cab breathing system.

It comes fitted with an LED light bar and an Engel fridge, and equipped with a Milwaulkee chainsaw.

It replaces the existing 5 year old Toyota Landcruiser based Region 1 QRV, which will be re-allocated to another brigade.

Thanks Andrew Hogg for the photo.
