Refurbished 14 for Range / Hope Forest

Range / Hope Forest took delivery of a refurbished 14 yesterday. The new Range / Hope Forest 14 is based on a 2020 Isuzu NPS 75-155 chassis, is 4 x 4 and carries 1550 litres of water. Built by Moore Engineering it is fitted with an Isuzu HM24 motor / Darley 1.5 AGE pump. It includes additional safety features to protect firefighters, including a halo system (water deluge system) and an in-cab breathing system. This appliance increases the crew carrying capacity from two in the old 14 appliance to four. It comes fitted with an LED light bar and an Engel fridge, and equipped with a Stihl chainsaw. It replaces the existing 15 year old Isuzu based 14, which will be refurbished and sent to another brigade. Thanks Dean Norman for the photo.
