Refurbished 34 for Hay Flat

Hay Flat took delivery of a refurbished 34 tonight. The new Hay Flat 34 is based on a 2011 Isuzu FTS800, is 4 x 4 and carries 3000 litres of water. Built by Fraser Fire, it is fitted with a Deutz BF4L2011W motor / Gaam Mk450 pump. It includes additional safety features to protect firefighters, including a halo system (water deluge system) and an in-cab breathing system. It comes fitted with an LED light bar and an Engel fridge, and equipped with a Milwaulkee chainsaw. It was previously based at Hindmarsh Valley. It replaces the existing 13 year old Isuzu based Hay Flat 24 which will be refurbished and sent to another brigade. Thanks Dean Norman for the photo.
