New 34 for Lameroo

Lameroo took delivery of a new 34 tonight. The new Lameroo 34 is based on an Isuzu FTS 150-260, is 4 x 4 and carries 3000 litres of water. It is fitted with a six speed Allison transmission & Allison retarder. Built by Fraser Fire, it is fitted with a Deutz BF4L2011W motor / Darley HE500 pump. It includes additional safety features to protect firefighters, including a halo system (water deluge system) and an in-cab breathing system. The new heavy appliances also include air conditioning vents for the crews in the rear seats, as well as those travelling in the front of the cab. It comes fitted with an LED light bar and an Engel fridge, and equipped with a Milwaulkee chainsaw. It replaces the existing 14 year old Isuzu based Lameroo 34, which will be refurbished and sent to another brigade. Thanks Andrew Hogg for the photo.
