National Volunteers Week

Today, Sunday 24th May, marks the end of National Volunteers week.

The theme for this week has been Your Year to Volunteer.

This week is a moment to thank those who already give their time and to invite others to discover how volunteering can create connection, purpose, and lasting positive change.

Joining the CFS is a great way to connect with your community, learn new skills, become part of a great team of people, and achieve something good.

With winter just about upon us, CFS crews are still busy with calls - trees down, vehicle crashes, building fires and much more.

If you have thought about joining the CFS, now is still a good time to take the next step and find out more about what is involved by contacting your local brigade.
