On Sunday, Eden Hills CFS held an event at their station to celebrate 75 years of service to the Community.

Current & former members, families, friends, neighbours and supporters joined in the celebrations.

Attendees heard stories of the history of Eden Hills - from the early days to the current. The MC, Brenton Ragless told stories of travelling down Shepherds Hill Rd with 13 crew on board the old Eden 51 / Eden Pumper, and his helmet flying off as they travelled down the road.

The Captain, Ben Gloyn spoke about the members - past and present who have made Eden Hills what it is today.

CFS Chief Brett Loughlin presented services medals and life membership to members of the brigade - including CFS life membership to Brenton Ragless and an impressive 70 year service medal to Russell Grear.

Congratulations Eden Hills CFS on your 75 years of service to your community
