Submitted By Pip

Murray Bridge took delivery of a new QRV tonight.

The new Murray Bridge QRV is based on a Toyota Landcruiser LC90 chassis, is 4 x 4 and carries 550 litres of water.

Built by Varley Group, it is fitted with a Hatz 1B40 motor / Gaam Mk70 pump.

It includes additional safety features to protect firefighters, including a halo system (water deluge system) and an in-cab breathing system.

It comes fitted with an LED light bar and a Dometic fridge, and equipped with a Stihl chainsaw.

It replaces the existing 10 year old Ford Ranger based Murray Bridge QRV, which will be sent to another brigade.

Thanks First Response Emergency Media for the photo.
