New QRV for Lucindale Group

Lucindale Group took delivery a new QRV last night. The new Lucindale QRV is based on a Toyota Landcruiser chassis, is 4 x 4 and carries 550 litres of water. Built by Varley Group, it is fitted with a Hatz 1B40 motor / Gaam Mk70 pump. It includes additional safety features to protect firefighters, including a halo system (water deluge system) and an in-cab breathing system. It comes fitted with an LED light bar and a Dometic fridge, and equipped with a Stihl chainsaw. It will initially be housed at Spence, replacing their existing 34 appliance to help address low crew numbers in that area of the Lucindale Group. In time Spence will receive a slightly larger refurbished 14 appliance, at which time Lucindale QRV will go into service based out of Lucindale Thanks Region 5 HQ for the photo.
