Sturt Group took delivery a new BW12 tonight.

The new Sturt BW12 is based on a 2024 Isuzu FXZ 240-350 chassis, is 6 x 4 and carries around 12,000 litres of water.

Built by Moore Engineering, it is fitted with a Chelsea PTO driven Darley HM500 pump.

It includes additional safety features to protect firefighters, including a halo system (water deluge system) and an in-cab breathing system.

It comes fitted with an LED light bar and an Engel fridge.

It will be based at Belair Station.

It replaces the 34 year old Isuzu based Belair BW10 which will be sent for disposal.

Thanks Braeden Gatt for the photo.
