Blyth / Snowtown Group took delivery a new QRV tonight.

The new Blyth / Snowtown QRV is based on a 2021 Toyota Landcruiser chassis, is 4 x 4 and carries 550 litres of water.

Built by Varley Group, it is fitted with a Hatz 1B40 motor / Gaam Mk70 pump.

It includes additional safety features to protect firefighters, including a halo system (water deluge system) and an in-cab breathing system.

It comes fitted with an LED light bar and a Dometic fridge, and equipped with a Stihl chainsaw.

It will be based at Snowtown Station.

It is an addition to the Blyth / Snowtown Group fleet.

Thanks Andrew Hogg for the photo.
