Mount Graham becomes Wattle Range

Mount Graham CFS (in the South East of the state) has had a name changed to Wattle Range CFS this month. Established in 1959 as Wattle Range - Mount Graham, the brigade changed name in 1988 to Wattle Range. It changed name again in 1997 to Mount Graham to avoid confusion with the newly formed Wattle Range CFS Group. In September 2024, the Wattle Range Group was split in half, with two new Groups - McKillop & Woakwine being established. Now, Mount Graham is once again Wattle Range brigade.
