New 24P for Cowell

Cowell took delivery of a new 24P today. The new Cowell 24P is based on a 2021 Isuzu FTS 139-260 chassis, is 4 x 4 and carries 2000 litres of water. Built by Fraser Fire and Rescue, it is fitted with a Deutz BF4L2011W motor / Darley HE500 pump. It includes additional safety features to protect firefighters, including a halo system (water deluge system) and an in-cab breathing system. It comes fitted with an LED light bar and Engel fridge, and equipped with a range of new equipment - including a Stihl chainsaw, a Stihl quick cut saw, Positive Pressure Ventilation (PPV) fan and a Tirfor winch. It will be based in the short term at Arno Bay. It replaces the existing 26 year old Isuzu based Arno Bay 24P, which will be sent for disposal. Thanks Dean Norman for the photo.
