Gulnare took delivery of a refurbished 34 today.

The new Gulnare 34 is based on a 2011 Isuzu FTS800 Crew chassis, is 4 x 4 and carries 3000 litres of water.

Built by Fraser Fire and Rescue, it is fitted with a Deutz BF4L2011 motor / Gaam Mk450 pump.

It includes additional safety features to protect firefighters, including a halo system (water deluge system) and an in-cab breathing system.

It comes fitted with an LED light bar and Engel fridge, and equipped with a Stihl chainsaw.

It was previously based at Kimba.

It replaces the existing 21 year old Gulnare 34, which will be sent to Region 3 as a spare.

Thanks Andrew Hogg for the photo.
