Edithburgh took delivery of a refurbished 34 this evening.

The new Edithburgh 34 is based on a 2011 Isuzu FTS800 crew chassis, is 4 x 4 and carries 3000 litres of water.

Built by Fraser Fire and Rescue, it is fitted with a Deutz BF4L2011 motor / Gaam Mk450 pump.

It comes fitted with Hella Rally 4000 LED driving lights and an Engel fridge, and equipped with a Stihl chainsaw.

It was previously based at Concordia.

It replaces the existing 21 year old Mitsubishi based Edithburgh 14, which will be assessed for ongoing operational use.
