Lenswood / Forest Range took delivery of a refurbished 24 yesterday. The new Lenswood 24 is based on a 2013 Isuzu FSS550 crew chassis, is 4 x 4 and carries 2485 litres of water. Built by Fraser Fire and Rescue it is fitted with a Deutz F3L2011 motor / Darley 2.5 AGE pump. It comes fitted with driving lights and a fridge, and equipped with a chainsaw. It was previously based at Nuriootpa. It replaces the existing 26 year old Hino based Lenswood 24, which will be sent to salvage.
