Advance with Courage - A History of the Aldgate CFS and how it evolved with its community, is a new book, officially launched this evening by local MP Rebekha Sharkie. The book, written by Aldgate CFS member and journalist Hamish Cooper, explores some of the history of the Aldgate CFS - from fire appliances used through the years and some of the social history of the brigade, and the community it serves. Copies of the book can be purchased for $20 by emailing Keith Clark - keith.clark@sacfsvolunteer.org.au
