Piccadilly CFS Station - Official Opening

The Piccadilly CFS celebrated their new station with an official station opening today.

The brigade moved into the new station over 18 months ago - but Covid made it difficult to organise and run an such an event - but today, the brigade were able to go ahead with the event.

Todays event included a traditional Aboriginal Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony by Kaurna and Peramangk man Ivan-Tiwu Copley, speeches from the current brigade Captain, founding member and former Captain, CFS Chief Mark Jones and Minister for Emergency Services Vincent Tarzia, and Adelaide Hills Council Mayor Jan-Claire Wisdom.
