Costs
 
Upon being accepted as a member of the CFS you will be supplied, free of charge, with a uniform (one or two piece overalls, helmet and gloves.) Boots will also be supplied, although due to cost, they may not be immediately made available.

Where your uniform will live

There is no membership fee to pay. Costs of travel to and from the station are not reimbursed.

Appropriate training is supplied in a formal manner which involves some weekends or training nights to complete. Much of this is now Nationally Accredited.

There is no fee to pay for training courses.
