New 14 for Gum Flat

Gum Flat took delivery of a new 14 this afternoon. The new Gum Flat 14 is based on a 2021 Isuzu NPS 75-155 crew chassis, is 4 x 4 and carries 1550 litres of water. Built by Moore Engineering it is fitted with an Isuzu HM24 motor / Darley 1.5 AGE pump. It includes an in-cab breathing system and a 'halo' system - a water protection system for the appliance. The appliance also comes fitted with driving lights and portable fridge. It replaces the existing 24 year old Mitsubishi based Gum Flat 14, which will be sent to salvage.
