New QRV for Montacute

Montacute took delivery of a new QRV tonight. The new Montacute QRV is based on a Toyota Landcruiser chassis, is 4 x 4 and carries around 600 litres of water. Built by Varley Group it is fitted with a Hatz 1B40 / Gaam Mk70 pump. It includes a halo system and an in-cab breathing system for protection of crew members in bushfires. It comes fitted with driving lights and Engel fridge, and equipped with a Stihl chainsaw. It replaces the existing 25 year old Toyota Landcruiser based Montacute QRV, which will be sent to salvage.
