Further districts start fire restrictions

Fire restrictions commenced on 1st December for the remaining three fire ban districts - Adelaide Metro, Mount Lofty Ranges & Kangaroo Island.

This means that fire restrictions are now in force across the whole state.

There are restrictions on burning off in the open, and on some other activites, including use of solid fuel BBQs, and the use of some machinery.

In some areas, permits may be issued for burning in the open, and other activities.

For information on the permits, please contact your local council, or local CFS Regional office.
