Rescue from heights at the end of a line
CFS brigades are often called to assist other agencies, such as the Police, Ambulance or the State Emergency Service. They will provide rope rescue equipment, and personnel to effect a successful conclusion of an incident. A number of CFS brigades are specially trained in rope rescue techniques and the use of equipment such as rescue stretchers and harnesses.
