Interagency Liaison
Using the Australasian Inter-service Incident Management System (AIIMS)

During large incidents, it is important to have a high level of coordination and communication with all agencies involved. Inter Service, Intrastate and Interstate Liaison Officers may be appointed to provide information and advice to those agencies.

Some examples of these agencies include the Department for Environment and Heritage, ForestrySA, SA Fire and Emergency Services Commission, SA Metropolitan Fire Sevice, SA Ambulance Service, State Emergency Service, St John and Salvation Army Emergency Service.
