Official Opening of Kersbrook CFS Station

A brand new, purpose built Fire Station has been officially opened at Kersbrook on Sunday 29th April 2001. The station features 3 vehicle bays, meeting room and radio communications room, for the Kersbrook brigade. The new station was built approx 5 km from the local airstrip, which is used during the Fire Danger season by Fire Bombing aircraft. The Kersbrook brigade provides ground support for these aircraft.
