Have you got your camera?

With the fire season now upon us, strike teams being sent to assist in other areas, and crews being active at local community events, now is time to think about your camera.

The CFS Promotions Unit website is seeking photos of CFS crews in action - at activities and incidents, for use on the website.

Photos displayed on the site are often used in CFS, and other publications (subject to Photographers permission).

So, this fire season, remember to take your camera with you to CFS activities - the local Christmas Pageant or Christmas function, have it ready to grab and take with you to the next call, and then remember to take it out of the bag, and take some photos!

The Promotions Unit guide to taking photos details the sort of images we are seeking for use on the website - go to "Photos" on the menu to the left, and follow the links.

If you have what you consider to be a suitable photo, please email it to pip@fire-brigade.asn.au

We are happy to provide feedback on your photos - with suitable photos being displayed on the website.

The Promotions Unit is happy to accept photos from members of the CFS, other Emergency Services, and members of the public. The name of the photographer is acknowledged on the website.

So, get your camera out, and start snapping, and remember to send us the photos
