Ash Wednesday Memorial Service

Mount Lofty Summit will again be the venue for the Ash Wednesday Memorial Service on Saturday, February the 16th at 3.30 pm.

It will recognise the 12 firefighters killed whilst on duty with the CFS over the years.

A guard of honour and a living monument will be highlights of the service to be held at the memorial plaques new location on the Summit.

All CFS members and family are invited to participate in the afternoons proceedings, with members of the public also invited.

The Mount Lofty Fire Tower brigade will conduct the proceedings, and enquiries should be directed to Captain, David McGowan on 8222 5387.
