A new book by Gary MacRae, giving a pictographic account of aerial firefighting in South Australia is now available for sale. It provides a small insight into the world of the flying firefighters; the people and the machines. The book is in full colour and the pictures capture the unique times in and around the air bases they work from and over the fires they fought.
