Macclesfield CFS will celebrate 70 years of service to the community, with a parade & open day on Sunday December 6th.

The celebrations start at 12pm, with a parade of historic fire trucks down the main street to Davenport Square.

Between 1 & 2pm there will be several activities aimed at children - with a focus on CFS type activities, including hose relays and knapsack races.

The offical part of day commences from 3 pm with services awards, and presentation of brigade member of the year.

CFS mascot Smoky the Koala will also be part of the day.

There will also be several stalls, including bushfire awareness, other services, and food.
