2006 Australasian Road Crash Comps - Results

The 2006 Australasian Road Crash Rescue Challenge was held at the Wayville Showgrounds over July 21-23. 23 teams representing each State, Territory and New Zealand took part in three separate challenges - controlled rescue, immediate rescue & entrapped rescue.

Crews were judged on a number of set criteria, which included aspects of command & control, technique and medical.

The overall winner of the challenge was NSW Fire Brigade, Burwood with second place going to New Zealand Fire Service, Morrinsville, and third place to FESA WA Fire & Rescue, Perth.

Two South Australian CFS teams took part, with Blackwood CFS coming 8th overall, with Stirling CFS coming in 20th place
