Mannum CFS, SA Ambulance, Police from the Hills-Murray LSA, and local funeral directors presented a mock accident to students from Mannum High School, and surrounding areas. The mock accident was to show students what actually happens at the scene of a serious accident - with the aim of preventing road trauma amongst young people. Four students were made up with realistic injuries - including one with "fatal" injuries. Emergency Crews worked together to free trapped casualties, and place them in ambulances for transport to Hospital. The "fatally" injured passenger was placed in a body bag, and carried away to the waiting funeral directors van.
