The CFS will establish a temporary fire Station at Woodhouse, in the Adelaide Hills, for the Australian Jamboree 2004.

The Jamboree is expected to draw around 11,000 scouts and their leaders, from 21 different countries.

The Jamboree runs between 5th and 15th January 2004.

The Fire Station will be crewed by CFS volunteers from the adjoining East Torrens and Mt Lofty CFS Groups, and will provide 24 hour coverage.
