Angaston CFS Group training exercise - photos

The Angaston CFS Group held a training exercise at a disused winery, in Nuriootpa on June 1st. Members from Nuriootpa, Angaston, Truro and Tanunda brigades participated in three different exercises.

The three different exercises involved a breathing apparatus / search and rescue in an office type area. A second exercise involved the laying of an extensive foam blanket over leaking "Flammable liquids", and the third involved the rescue of a casualty from a confined space - old inground wine vats.

The Salvation Army also attend, with its Catering Truck, providing food and refreshments to the participants. The Unit also officially received a new GPS unit, donated by service clubs in the Nuriootpa area.
