Some Fire Restrictions finish, some still in force

Fire Restrictions have finished in some areas - this means that a permit is not required to undertake controlled burning. The areas where restrictions have finsihed are:
Flinders, West Coast, Eastern Eyre Peninsula, Lower Eyre Peninsula, Riverland, Murraylands, Upper South East, North West Pastoral and North East Pastoral districts.


Fire Restrictions are still in force in the following areas:

Yorke Peninsula, Mid North, Lower South East, Kangaroo Island,
Mt Lofty Ranges and Adelaide Metropolitan (Inner Adelaide).
In these area, controlled burnoff may only be undertaken if you have a permit, which may be issued by your local Council, or some members of the CFS.
