The Fire Danger Season in the Mt Lofty Ranges district has been brought forward by a month, due to the predicted severe fire danger in the Adelaide Hills.

Fire Restrictions will commence in the Mt Lofty district on November 1st.

This means there will be no burning in the open, unless a permit is obtained from the local council.

There are also restrictions on other activities, such as welding and slashing.

For further infomration on the Fire Danger season, or any other restrictions on certain activites, please contact your local council Fire Prevention Officer, the CFS Bushfire Prevention Office at cfsbpu@cfs.org.au, or check out the CFS HQ website at www.cfs.org.au for all the details
